Hi all

I have a FP's problem with my KDE 4 effects, when i starts the machine sometimes the effects goes very well, fasts, perfect. And sometimes slow slow effects.

My hardware is M4A785TD-V EVO mobo with an ATI HD 4200 with lastest ati drivers from amd website.

This graphic card uses a dedicaded memory and this mobo have the ability to add more memory from RAM modules.

I use Debian Testing, i need help to solve this strange problem, i have read lots of pages with any luck

Does the slowdown happen over time and affect all KDE Desktop Effects? Or does it affect just a few of the Desktop Effects?
