Configuration of kio_audiocd

Tue Aug 03, 2010 6:35 am
Dear all,

am I right to assume that KDE Systemsettings -> Multimedia -> AudioCDs (at least that's how it is appearing under openSuSE 11.3) is where kio_audiocd is "configured" (behaviour of mp3 and ogg, filenaming).

If yes, where can I find means to configure flac plugin?
Are there more - hidden - ways of configuring the behaviour of kio_audiocd, i.e. tagging, cddb lookup etc?

Thanks for any hints - googled hard but only very limited and seemingly outdated information can be found there...

If you want more control and options for your cd ripping I'd suggest Audex (it would be found in the extra repo)

Tanks for the quick response - I already do my ripping and encoding with tools like EAC under wine, k3b...

I just like the possibilities kio_audiocd offers and would like to understand about it's configuration...
