Hi. I've got a problem in Mandriva with KDE. I've got Kdenlive and I used it for edit videos. This program is very very good!
But, one day, I've actualized the system. This day, the actualization fails, and I've got some problems. One of these is abot Kdenlive: it don't start when I open it.

When I open Kdenlive, the shutdowns manager appears, and in Information this text appears:

Application: Kdenlive (kdenlive), signal: Segmentation fault
[KCrash Handler]

Now I use PiTiVi, but what a sadness, Kdenlive is very good!

1) did you update your distro or the app just before it stopped running?

2) what verions of distro and app are you running? current is 0.7.8 see http://sophie.zarb.org/rpmfind?distrib= ... st=rpmname? what about mlt++3 and libmlt2 and mlt - current is 0.5.10 for the 3?
3) can you install the kdenlive-debuginfo rpm which should show more detailed crash info

My OS is Mandriva One 2010 Spring. My system don't find the package kdenlive-debuginfo.

i will purge the kdenlive installation i mean i dunno how mandriva does but on debian like


sudo apt-get remove --purge kdenlive

and then i will reinstall it

OK, I've repared this! I have got Kdenlive now okay!
I just have reinstalled the packages mlt and kdenlive and it works now! ^^
