Do you mean for compositing? Go to system settings-> desktop effects->advanced and there should be a dropdown with opengl and xrender as options.

yes but it says that I cant change on OpenGL and I have to check the X server

Please run "glxinfo | grep -i direct" in Konsole, and post the output here.

Please install the mentioned package ( mesa-utilities ) and post the output of the glxinfo command again.
