Hi,
I have a brand new epson stylus sx620fw. it features wireless scanning using the epkowa-driver. epson has iscan as scanning application, but i prefer skanlite. skanlite does find the scanner on startup, but asks for a username/password authentication in order to connect to the epson. Iscan does not require an authentication, nor does Xsane. Does anyone know why Skanlite demands an authentication to connect to the wireless scanner? Regards, Rinse |

Can you please show a screenshot of this? Did you successfully conduct a scan in XSane?

Unfortunately I don't know why this occurs. Is any message output to the console which may indicate what the problem is?
