I have a certain film which is encoded with the On2 VP7 codec. On my system I can play it without problems with MPlayer or with KPlayer, but with SMPlayer or with KMPlayer the video output stutters strongly, I get about 1-2 frames per second only. Does anybody have an idea why this is so, in spite of the fact that these players use mplayer for playing, too?
