Hi everyone,

I'm a brand new Kubuntu user. Just loaded Kubuntu. Tried to play a dvd with Dragon Player. It played trailers on dvd then quit. Will not recognize dvd on subsequent loadings. Can Dragon Player be fixed/updated or is there a better dvd player for Kubuntu available to download that works right out of the box?

there are legal/licensing issues with playing restricted formats so most distributions do not ship with them

Thank You - Your instructions helped me to resolve Dragon Player issues and I now can play DVDs
BTW - Would it help for future to install Medibuntu?
