Enabling a device?

Mon Jan 31, 2011 10:03 am
Hello there,

running ubuntu 10.10 for a while; and there I am used to switch the profile of my laptop build in sound from time to time (like to "off" when I want to make sure that my headset is the one and only audio source/sink).

Just added KDE 4.6 ... and I really like it; especially the thing that i have "preferences" for my audio devices.

But: when switching the hardware profile of some device to "off" with gnome sound preferences - how can change that with KDE means?

In KDE 4.6, a tab "Speaker Setup" allows you to control this. You will need to change the item selected in the "Sound Card" drop down to change each devices preferences however.
