Good day - I see that Kmix causes a 45-50% of CPU load. I am not even running any audio program at the moment - this is immediately after a reboot.
Can anyone advise please? I have installed PulseAudio recently to see if I can get more control on Volume control etc. Can that perhaps have something to do with it? How do I safely remove PulseAudio? Lastly, what is the absolute minimum I need to run sound on Kubuntu with KDE? Sorry for all the questions. Stephan |

re: cpu see viewtopic.php?f=202&t=92206&p=188681&hilit=kmix#p188738
to remove pulse I'd suggest using your package manager and search for what pulse packages are installed then uncheck them |
