Shutter (screenshot tool) fails

Sat Mar 26, 2011 6:25 am
Shutter starts on reboot - but when I take a screenshot the program closes, also from the system tray.

Code: Select all
When running Shutter through the terminal I get the following output:

WARNING: Net::DBus::GLib is missing --> Ubuntu One support will be disabled!

WARNING: Image::ExifTool is missing --> Writing Exif information will be disabled!

(shutter:4438): Wnck-WARNING **: Property _NET_WM_NAME contained invalid UTF-8

(shutter:4438): Wnck-WARNING **: Property _NET_WM_NAME contained invalid UTF-8

**
Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.22.0/gtk/gtkrecentmanager.c:1942:get_icon_fallback: assertion failed: (retval != NULL)
Aborted

Can someone advise please?

Thank you

see https://bugs.launchpad.net/shutter/+bug ... comments/7 it appears to be an icon related issue with themes, try using qtcurve for Gnome apps in systemsettings
