Hi guys!

first, my pc specs:
Asrock K7VT4A+ with AMD Athlon XP 2800+
ATI Sapphire HD3650 512mb GDDR3 agp
2GB Kingston RAM

I need your help:
I"ve intsalled Kubuntu on a little older pc, after my old pc with an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ @2.54Ghz with 3GB and this graphicscard don"t booted anymore ( so you know where the "good" things like RAM, graphics. etc come from), to to have temporarily a working machine. All things good, little slow, but my prob is that I haven"t got any sound....before I"ve installed the new Kubuntu OS, I tried 8.10 and sound worked there perfectly.....so my only prob is that now I haven"t got any sound and alsamixer in terminal says "Device: VIA 8235 Chip: C-Media Electronics CMI9761A+" but it doesn"t work......if I raise the volume trough KDE, in the little windows appears "Internes Audio Analog Stereo"...pls, help me, I want to hear some music

It seems like you have Pulseaudio installed. How are you trying to test the function of your audio playback? You may need to install proprietary codecs.
