Hi guys!

first, my pc specs:
Asrock K7VT4A+ with AMD Athlon XP 2800+
ATI Sapphire HD3650 512mb GDDR3 agp
2GB Kingston RAM

I need your help:
I"ve intsalled Kubuntu on a little older pc, after my old pc with an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ @2.54Ghz with 3GB and this graphicscard don"t booted anymore ( so you know where the "good" things like RAM, graphics. etc come from), to to have temporarily a working machine. All things good, little slow, but my prob is that I haven"t got any sound....before I"ve installed the new Kubuntu OS, I tried 8.10 and sound worked there perfectly.....so my only prob is that now I haven"t got any sound and alsamixer in terminal says "Device: VIA 8235 Chip: C-Media Electronics CMI9761A+" but it doesn"t work......if I raise the volume trough KDE, in the little windows appears "Internes Audio Analog Stereo"...pls, help me, I want to hear some music :)
sorry for my bad english, I"m german/polish :)

It seems like you have Pulseaudio installed. How are you trying to test the function of your audio playback? You may need to install proprietary codecs.
