Hello,
I am creating several videos for a game which is using Qt and phonon to play these videos. Apparently they are having great difficulty consistently playing the videos, we are using .wmvs and .movs as the formats, here are my questions: At first most of the wmvs were working on our windows machines, now, none of them work and only some of the movs work on the mac. Are there other formats better suited for playback in this environment? Do the videos need to be optimized for streaming?, as opposed to download?, if so should they be hosted on a streaming server? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as you can see I'm not a highly technical person. Thank you, James |
