I'd like to change the vlc system tray icon. How can I do this?

I don't think you can, at least easily - as best as I can tell you'd need to recompile the source code to achieve it

searching on the VLC forums did not provide an answer http://forum.videolan.org/search.php?st ... con+change

Thanks for the quick reponse. Maybe I'll try to suggest they change the icon. The current icon sticks out like a sore thumb being orange and white next to the monochrome icons.
