Hi,

I am running KDE 4.6 on a Gentoo system. Kaffeine will play audio CD's. kscd recognizes the tracks on the CD, but will not play it.

I realize that there have been similar posts, but I wanted to also state that, besides the fact that kscd does not appear in the device notifier list, a kscdrc file does not get created.

kscd works on my machine and it did not create a kscdrc, might be because there's so few settings and until set there's no need

I had to create a revised devised notifier device action for kscd to function see below:

This solved the problem perfectly. Much thanks!
