Naming of Audio-CD titles

Thu Dec 29, 2011 4:29 pm
The content of an Audio CD is shown in Dolphin. The main folder contains all tracks as wav-File. Subfolders like "Ogg Vorbis", "FLAC" or "MP3" contain the tracks ripped.

Naming of track titels can be configured by SystemSettings/Multimedia/Audio-CDs/Names. There is the "Replace by Regular Expression" field. One example is shown: Replace " " by "_". This is working for me. Any further help is missing, pressing Help-Button does not show any further help.

I would like to replace " " by "_" AND delete "." or ":" characters by changing with "". Does anyone know, how it is done?

Unfortunately it seems that you can only have one regular expression there, and you need two - as you need two different substitutions.

Opened a feature request "More options to rename Audio-CD tracks with regular expressions (system settings dialog)" at KDE bug tracking system.
