Hi there, i am new to latex
When you type
\vec{V_A(1/0)}
The arrow shoult be above the whole expresssion shouldn'tit?
I am getting it only above the 1

I'm not sure what you are trying to do... If you want to put an arrow over all the expression, use \overrightarrow{V_A(1/0)}. But if the vector entity is the V then the arrow should be only over V: $\vec{V}_A^{(1/0)}$ or $\vec{V}_A(1/0)$.
Anyway this forum is not the best place for these questions: try the LaTeX forums and off course only after you RTFM (Read The F... Manual).
