Right to left text in BasKet

Sun Apr 07, 2013 12:35 pm
Hi;

I use BasKet note pads to manage my notes. I need right to left support for most of them. Does BasKet support RtL text?

Thanks.

Your best bet in this case is to simply try it. Hopefully it will automatically switch the text direction as needed.

In many KDE applications, text direction is automatically switched. But in BasKet don't!

Unfortunately i'm not sure if Basket is maintained anymore - so you might be out of luck here unfortunately.

I do recall that "KNotes" did exist at some point - not sure if it still exists though.

It's just a simple application and isn't comparable with Basket!
I'm looking for an application like oneNote in windows.

Unfortunately i'm not aware of any KDE alternatives to Basket. You could try looking at http://alternativeto.net/software/basket/ though.

I find zim the best note-taking application. But it is GTK-based, so it does not integrate with KDE SC so nicely.

Also, I am not sure if it will support RTL languages, as I have never had a reason to try it myself.

I switched to it and it supports RtL writing.
