How does Okular handle PDF files with active content?

How does Okular work, when it opens a PDF file that wants to load data from the net? Can I prohibit Okular from loading data from the net? What about embedded scripts, does or can Okular execute scripts within PDF files?

Thanks!

I'm not sure here - Okular certainly does not seem to have options for either of these two.
The precise behaviour here will depend on whether Poppler supports them, and the defaults it applies I guess.

Have you observed the active content being executed?

No, I did not to any testing on that. Maybe I test it at the weekend.

I would think that if implemented this was a functionality provided by Poppler so you might want to ask them

try the poppler mailing listhttp://lists.freedesktop.org/mailma ... fo/poppler, or visit the #poppler irc channel on irc.freenode.org
