Hi!
I am struggling with the following problem with kate. When I open a file which I do not have write permission for (usually, some config file in /etc), the Kate keeps asking a password for EVERY saving of edits in that file. This is very annoying.

Previously [on another installation several years ago], I had seen Kate asked password once, then you can edit save, then again edit save file as many times you want. And you were not asked for password after first time.

Because I saw this working long time ago and on another system installation, I am not sure if such functionality was removed with updates or if I misconfigured something?
May it be because of I am not using kde wallet now?
Any thoughts?

I am using Arch by the way.
