Integrate KAddressBook with KOrganizer without Kontact

Is there a way to sync my Google Contacts with KAddressBook, and then have KOrganizer automatically generate a birthday calendar from that?

If not, how can I install Kontact with just KOrganizer and KAddressBook? I don't want the feed reader, the mail client or anything else. I use other apps for those things and having useless apps lie around on my system is annoying. I'm on Debian, and going sudo apt install kontact results in all the stuff I don't want being pulled in.

What if I do install Kontact with all of its "dependencies" and uninstall what I don't want afterwards? Will it be pulled back in again when I update the package? If so, how do I stop it?

Thank you in advance for any ideas.

Peace be with you.
