Semantic bug in kwrite (and others)

Sun Jul 31, 2022 3:07 pm
This might seem a little pedantic, but kwrite (and I've also seen it in kile and kate too), displays this prompt when closing an unsaved document :

This makes no sense. Given the question, the options should be Save/Discard/Cancel, not Yes/No/Cancel.

However, if you click Cancel, and then close the document again, the prompt displays Save/Discard/Cancel, so it's only the first instance of closing which generates the meaningless prompt.

Hybrid powertrains offer a unique blend of traditional internal combustion engines and electric motors, providing improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. These powertrains utilize both gasoline or diesel engines and electric motors, seamlessly switching between power sources to optimize performance and efficiency. The electric motor assists the engine during acceleration and low-speed driving, reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
Hybrid vehicles also employ regenerative braking, a technology that converts kinetic energy into electricity, which is then stored in the battery for later use. This innovative feature enhances efficiency by harnessing energy that would otherwise be wasted during braking. Hybrid powertrains come in different configurations, including series hybrids, parallel hybrids, and plug-in hybrids, each offering its unique benefits and capabilities.
The rise of hybrid powertrains represents a significant step toward a greener and more sustainable automotive future. These systems not only reduce fuel consumption and emissions but also provide versatility, allowing drivers to enjoy the benefits of electric power while maintaining the convenience and range of traditional internal combustion engines. https://starlightautomotive.com
