Hello all,
I installed Kate editor 22.08.0 through the official link https://kate-editor.org/get-it/
It seems the left/right border buttons are not working correctly. These buttons include stuff like filesystem view, git view, symbol view, etc.
Also, the project view button is missing, I couldn't find it. (I could nol onger find the "project plugin" option in the plugin option in ver22 ). Are there anything I'm missing? What can I do to provide more information for the debug?
Thanks for any advice!

Expected UI (v17, installed with apt):

I encountered a similar problem using Arch Linux, installing the 'breeze-icons' package fixed this for me. There appears to be a similar 'breeze-icon-theme' package for Ubuntu which may help you https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/breeze-icon-theme .

Hi @penteract

Thank you for the info, after some
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install breeze-icon-theme
the icons did show up! (see the image below)
I wonder why the default installer didn't include the dependencies ???
It really makes the experience 10000% better, thank you again!
