Recently, Kile started ignoring my indentation setting and only indents with four space (upon Tab key press) instead of the tab (shown as two spaces) that I have configured. Does anyone know what might be the problem and how I can fix it?

There appeared to have been some issue with the last boot causing strange issues like this. Rebooting and restarting Kile fixed it.
