This is apparently a hard thing to do as its not in 3.5.10. I have verified (manually) desktop affinity is removed in kdepim-3.5.10_2 if the Desktop= line is not written to the properties file in .kde/share/apps/knotes/notes.

I can test sugestions but I am not a C++ programmer. If its true no one should have to learn an operating system after 30, its got to be doubly true that no one should have to learn C++ after 60

If I get anything working I will Post back the changes as a patch.
