KDE4, Jaunty, OO.org 3.1

Fri May 29, 2009 6:43 am
I've installed KDE4 it's great. Much more stable.

However, I'm trying to use it with OO 3.1 and everything's broken.

Examples:

* File import dialog for CSV into oocalc spreadsheets do not show all options.
* File open dialog is odd looking and missing options.

I've tried using openoffice-kde module for jaunty but no joy so far I think there is no 3.1 oo.org-kde module yet. Does anyone know if getting this module would fix my issue?

Unfortunately, the KDE integration for openOffice has not been written for KDE 4 yet, which is likely the reason behind it being missing still. This is likely why the File Open dialog is odd looking ( probably the GNOME one.. ) but probably unrelated to the CSV import.
