kile, pdf, and text weight

Sun Dec 27, 2009 4:46 pm
i've been using kile for the past few months and i'm really pleased with it. it's works really well and is simple and easy to use.

but when i compile my documents into pdfs, the text comes out fairly light. that may well be the normal behavior, but is there any way to make the text darker? darker text is easier to read.

thanks!

The only easy way is to use a different font; the default font Computer Modern and its more recent version Latin Modern are inherently lighter. Have a look at Bookman or Utopia and see if they are more what you want.
