Kile and spell checker

Mon Apr 19, 2010 12:03 pm
Hi,
I have two problems with kile and spell checker
1/In Tools > Spelling..., Kile opens spell checker. It browses the text and propose me to fix every words which are not into dictionary. The problem is latex tags (such as \text, \chapter, ...) are not known and so kile wants to fix them. Do you know how to set kile to skip these tags?
2/Do you know how to enable spell checker on the fly while typing text by underlining the wrong words for example?

Hi! Which version of Kile are you using?
I'm with Kile 2.1 beta 4 and I can enable the automatic spell checking from Tools -> Automatic Spell Checking
Also, Kile skips al words beginnging with "\"

Regards :)

I have kile 4.3.5
and it does not have an auto spell check under the tools menu.

Do I need to install something into KDE to enable this ?
