kde needs a rich text editor, just wondering can't we use qtwebkit for a basic kde based odf reader/writer for kde http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2009/03 ... ml-editor/ KDE

AFAIK the point of this rich text editor is that you use it in a browser; it is one of the 'web workers' in the HTML5 specification. So it would be an inevitable part of an HTML5-aware version of Konqueror.
