The only thing holding me back from using gnucash is the inability to modify multiple transactions at once.
For example, if I import credit card transactions into Gnucash, I will then want to select the Account (like a 'category') for each transaction. The problem is that if I have 50 transactions on my credit card statement, I am unable to select multiple transactions at once and put them all into the same account. I would have to go through each one by one (groceries, fuel, entertainment, etc). So the question in a nutshell is: When you import monthly statements into gnucash, how do you go about assigning categories/accounts to them? Do you painstakingly go through them one by one, or do you know of a trick I am unaware of? Thanks, Chris |
