Kile - No new line after auto-closed environments

Greetings,

I've got a 2nd small problem which isn't as annoying as my first problem. It just would be nice if I can solve it, but if not, I can live with it :).

Because I am writing mainly math stuff, I am opening a lot of different environments. A good feature of Kile is that Kile automatically closes the environments. I really don't want to miss this feature :). But the problem is that Kile also adds a new line after the closed environment.

I usually don't need this new line. Especially in a math environment it isn't good to have one, e.g.:
Code: Select all
\begin{align*}
  \begin{split}
  \end{split}

\end{align*}

returns an "error" because an empty line in math environments isn't allowed. So I am mainly deleting the automatically generated new lines.

Is it possible to auto-close the environments without auto-adding this new line below the closed environment? If yes: How?

Kind regards,
