What happened to Kjots?

Wed Dec 15, 2010 8:47 pm
The PIM suite in my installation of KDE 4.6 beta 2 lacks Kjots! What happened to it? Is it coming back?

It is probable your distributor built KDE PIM without Grantlee present. I can assure you that KJots is both present in the source tree, and enabled in the build system of KDE Trunk (4.6).

Okay, I'm hunting for the libgrantlee source code (and so far not finding it); I can't find any packages for my distro. Will get back to you once I've located, built, and installed libgrantee and have built KDE PIM against it (although if you know where the source code is don't keep it to yourself)!

Okay, rebuilding kdepim against grantlee solved it. Thanks, bcooksly. You're always the one who's right there with the answers.
