KMyMoney vs Skrooge

Sun Jan 01, 2012 5:52 pm
I think this question has been asked many times. But still I am asking this:

Which of these two applications should a stater go for: KMyMoney or Skrooge. How would one compare these two applications based on the features provided?

Hi,

First, I am the main developer of Skrooge. So, my advice is not impartial.
Nevertheless, Skrooge is very good for imports, so if you already have data in an other format, I recommend you to start with Skrooge.

After that, you can try it. And if you don't like it (I can't believe it), you can export your data in KmyMoney format and change.

KmyMoney and Skrooge have the same kind of features (reports, budgets, multi currencies, multi accounts, ...) but Skrooge has some other interesting features (undo/redo, properties, massive update, search & process, bookmarks, ...). So, try it!

Ok! I am not importial. ;)

Regards.
