I created a collection of coins, which includes 2 fields for each coin: amount of the purchase and present value.
How could I obtain the total amount of my purchases and the actual total value of my collection ?

Unfortunately, none of the reports shipped with Tellico include the functionality to sum the value of a collection. It would be a bit tricky if currency symbols were part of the field value, or even worse, if there were multiple currencies used. Sorry...

Yeah, the total value would be nice, along with decimal fields. You may not want to do this too often but you can export the data to csv and open it with libre office.
In libre office calc you can sum the fields or if you have a quantity field you could do the multiplcation then sum those results.
