Syncing XML file in a LAN

Wed Jun 13, 2012 8:21 pm
Hello eveyone,

I'm a new Tellico user and I'm using it to organize a community small library.

We have here a small network and I've installed Tellico in 3 different computers.

The .tc file is stored at a public folder, on the server.

Now i was trying to include some books on the collection using two computers at the same time.

Then, I had to sync the file in Tellico, to download in "computer 1" the information uploaded by "computer 2" at real-time.

Is anyway to make it possibly?

Thx and sorry about poor english.

Tellico isn't really setup to recognize that one file is being edited by two different people. There's no way to really make that work. If you ensure that only one person has the file open at a time, then obviously, the updates will stick and be visible to others, but that's the only way. Sorry!
