Hi. I recently discovered Tellico and really like it, especially the extreme flexibility it provides. However, I'm having an issue setting up my video games platform list. There are two separate problems:
1. If I edit the built-in platforms list, Tellico insists on re-adding all of the default values back. For example, if I remove Mac OS and change PSP to PlayStation Portable, Tellico will add both Mac OS and PSP back on its own, so I end up with a platform I don't want/use and a duplicate platform since I already have PlayStation Portable in the list. 2. Tellico, for whatever reason, insists on a particular sort order for the platforms that makes no sense. Eg., the first five entries are: Dreamcast; Xbox; Nintendo DS; Linux; PlayStation2; If I try to alphabitize the list, Tellico will revert to this default order. In both cases, the unwanted changes are triggered when I perform any action using a data source, whether adding a new entry or updating an existing entry. I'm not sure if there are other triggers, but doing anything with a data source will trigger it every time. Any idea what's causing this, and more importantly, how to prevent it? Thanks. |

That's a bug, no way to really avoid it. Just recorded it as Bug #317905, and uploaded a fix for the next release. Thanks for letting me know! |
