Tellico by default, it seems, will place the word "The" at the end of a "Title" Field: Type "Simple Text". For example, an entry such as "The New Generation" is saved in the left hand column as "New Generation, The". In the right hand details box it is seen as "The New Generation". No problem - good idea - means that the word "The" is demoted.
But if you export the database to CSV, the Word "The" becomes a separate column entry and pushes all the following entries to the right by one column. Is there any way round this? |

The CSV export should enclose any value which contain a comma with quotes. If you don't want the auto-formatting in the CSV export, uncheck the option "Format All Fields" in the CSV export dialog box. ![]() |
