Greetings,
I always append the date of a movie to it's title like: "After The Fall" becomes "After The Fall [2014]" Is it possible to automate this? I'm current wrote a python script that scans though all of my database and changes all titles accordingly, But I am curious if this can be set automatically for future additions. thanks |

No way to really automate it, but you CAN create a new additional field (call it whatever you want), click the "Use derived value" box and enter "%{title} [%{year}]" in the template box. Probably want "Format as a Title", too. That will give you another column you can show with the title on the right side (even hide the real title field, too), but as it is right now, there's no way to tell Tellico to use that title in the grouping on the left. |
