Crash upon CSV import

Tue Oct 27, 2015 6:13 pm
To whom it may concern,
I was extremely happy when I finally found Tellico. Just the application I was looking for for years.
Though, when trying to import my list of CDs (ca. 1000) into the system via a csv file, Tellico crashes/hangs up. The details:
o The import options menu does not appear.
o Formatted as mentioned in the Handbook (with ";") or the Forum (with "::"). UTF-8 is used as recommended. Makes no difference.
o Result: Tellico always crashes when trying to load my csv file - i.e. it runs for hours/over night at 100% utilization of one core until I kill it.
o I have ubuntu 14.04 LTS installed with all updates. I installed Tellico via the Ubuntu Software Center. Is there anything else to install?
Would you please guide me to the solution? If Tellico works, of course I shall donate, as I finally found what I was looking for.
Kind regards,
Alex

It sounds like a bug that was fixed in Tellico 2.3.9. What version are you using?
