Is there option to autosave

Sun Sep 25, 2016 7:32 am
Cannot find option to autosave. Is it hidden from gui or does it not exist? Will there be one in future versions?

Currently when editing item you have to manually either save via button or through messagebox. Especially when mass editing it would greatly improve workflow to have saving done automatically.

Using Tellico Version 2.3.11 with KDE Development Platform 4.14.9 on Opensuse 13.2.

I have not implemented an auto-save feature yet. That's a good idea.

Ok.

I simply bypassed the "Do you want to save" and recompiled. Seems to work. On KDE4-version.

I have no published coding experience so far, but i guess I could be able to implement simple autosave-setting. I'll return to the topic by the end of this year or then not. I guess it should be added to KDE5-version, but my migration to KDE5 is pending mouse gestures to work on Opensuse so I would not be yet able to test in real use.

Marking this issue solved for now.
