Using Tellico 3.2.1 on Kubuntu 19.10 (with updates to 10/27/2019).

When you try to edit another book Tellico acts as though you have the CONTROL key held down during selection and adds the new selection to your previous edit.

How to reproduce.

1. Edit a book.
2. Click on "Save Entry" (do not click "Close").
3. Click on another book to edit.

If you close the "Edit Entry" screen and re-open it with a new (or same) book it releases and acts normally.

One other anomaly related to this is that the entry screen for the next and subsequent books is smaller than the initial entry screen but I suspect that is because I have resized mine to be larger and the next entry screen is running back to the default size.
