Hi, I'm new to using Tellico.
Tellico Version 3.1.4
KDE 5.14.5
Debian Linux 10

I have CDs, DVDs, etc.
I would like to do a internet search for them using an ISBN or UPC code.
I don't see how to do this.
The Amazon data source has issues.

I would like to create a NEW data source from https://www.barcodelookup.com
It has an API.
I assume I do this using the "External Application" data source.
Is there any documentation or examples of how to create a script to do this?
I understand there should be a shell script (wget) and xml file, but can't find any documentation on how to set this up.

Any help would be appreciated.

The basic outline of how it works is in the documentation
https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragear-office/tellico/data-sources-options.html#externalexec
You can check out some (old) examples here:https://store.kde.org/browse/cat/590/order/latest
one of the simplest (doesn't work anymore) is for searching supercat. http://tellico-project.org/files/scripts/tellico-search-supercat.tar.gz That might give you some insight.

Simply put, Tellico just passes search terms to an executable and tries to read the standard output.
