Tellico and MacPorts

Sat Nov 27, 2021 6:59 pm
I recently upgraded to MacOS Monterrey and upgraded my MacPorts installation, including Tellico. Tellico on MacPorts is 2.3.12. Unfortunately, now when I try to search on a book in Google Books, I get the following error: "Could not connect to host www.googleapis.com: SSL negotiation failed." I do have a registration for Google Books that the data source options says you need and I have successfully used that a Fedora Linux setup.

At the end of this message, I've pasted the terminal messages when I run tellico in a terminal. I'm uncertain whether this is a tellico issue or a macports ssl issue. If I paste the string that tellico sends in a browser, I do get a response.

At this point, I'm out of my depth. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to proceed.

Thanks.

I'm sorry. Personally, I'm not sure what to suggest. KDE4 and Tellico 2.3 is fairly old, I'm not sure what part of the MacPorts install might have changed the SSL configuration.
