Problem upgrading Tellico

Fri Nov 27, 2009 3:29 pm
Hello,

I am encountering an erro installing Tellico. It appears that I do not have some files in the right path, but am uncertain which files need to go where or what cmake file I need to change the path in to point at the right spot. Here is the error:

-- The CXX compiler identification is unknown
CMake Error: your CXX compiler: "CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER-NOTFOUND" was not found. Please set CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER to a valid compiler path or name.
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.6/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:84 (MESSAGE):
ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in
/root/.kde/share/apps;/usr/share/kde4/apps
Call Stack (most recent call first):
CMakeLists.txt:34 (find_package)

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

I am running Ubuntu 9.10 and appear to be running KDE 4.3.2. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well isn't that helpful...if I were asking for help on installing anything I would appreciate your help (as if). Your point is: keep trying and good luck. If I were the guy asking for help I would be very dissapointed right now... :/

Tellico would probably require at a minimum the Qt4 and KDELibs development packages, as well as those for any other libraries it uses.

CMake is helpful in this regard, and will inform you of missing components through its error messages ( assuming the CMake scripts are correctly written )
