Impossible switch language

Sat Aug 07, 2010 6:09 pm
Hi.
First, congratulation to the Tellico's devs'.
This is a very useful and complete program.

My only, little problem with Tellico is i'm french. (Forgive my English)
And it didn't want to translate.
When I go on "Help" and "Switch Application Language", I can only select "English American".
I'm under Kubuntu, KDE4 and my main system language is the french.

So, anybody know how to do, please?

If you go to Help -> About KDE in Tellico, what does it say?
If it says KDE 4, you may need to install the tellico specific translations package.
If it says KDE 3, you need to install the KDE 3 translations, as well as any tellico specific translations package.

Open your package manager ( kpackagekit I think ) and install kde-l10n-fr.

This is likely a bug in the Kubuntu packaging of Translations or Tellico. Please file a bug on Launchpad.
