I cannot pull any covers for imdb searches. I currently use moviedb which is working but not all of the movies I have are on that site.
Thanks. |

Right, it happens...that's the danger with depending on websites without APIs. ![]() |

yeah I see the moviedb also requires registration now to pull up info.
Figured it out when searches were coming back empty and I went into the data sources and saw it now requires access key, but it was easy enough. wonder why they are so protective of their api???? |

thanks for the work Robby.. had the new version on my comp since the other day and it works like a champ. Wish IMDB would just pick a format and stay with it but oh well. IMDB is definatly more "full" when it comes to their database. Is there any reason why when I update I have to re-add my fields?? Like I itemise location in a case, sleeve and slot which I have to then re-add so I can quick sort with them. Also as I said I put a tv check box for shows will we find a dope solution Im sure your thinking about. |

I'm not sure I follow you. If you add new fields to a collection. then update one of your entries, then yes, those new fields should still be there. If you create a new collection, then no, since those fields are not default fields, they won't be in the new collection. |

Oh disregard my fault it was with my bug report that was a duplicate. Was just referring to the bug you already know about and fixed. thanks |

it seems that IMDB changed again their format... or at least so it seems to me, because i'm having problems again retrieving many fields like duration, genre, synopsis, thumbnail, etc. is it working OK for the rest of you? (i'm using 2.3.1 on linux, with the patch that fixes the problem with the columns)

It's really much much better if you give specific examples of which movie and which field. The unit test for Tellico still works. |

sorry for the noise, it seems that by a strange coincidence, all 5 or 6 movies i tried to add to my collection lately have very little information on IMDb... i thought tellico wasn't retrieving it correctly, my bad. again, sorry for the noise, i should have checked that before posting.
thanks. |
