Hi,
i just made a simple python script to create pdf labels from a custom tellico book collection exported as xml. I must underline that i did this for my specific needs, and i'm not a good coder at all, so the code is messy and requires to be used interactively in a python shell. please note that the script refers to my particular book collection, where i added a couple of fields to track the room and shelf where each book sits. also i should seriously find a better solution to handle unicode, and in fact if the python default encoding is set to ascii, the script might raise errors. nevertheless, i thought that others might have similar needs, so the code is now public, and being quite short, it shouldn't be that hard of a task for others to read and tweak it. it can be found at https://github.com/japs/tellicoLabel j |
