HAL seems to be active (name is haldaemon)
but I can't find udisks in the list...
is there anyway to check by konsole ? (sorry I'm not an expert)

udisks, if running, should be callled "udisks-daemon". You can check in ksysguard (Ctrl-Esc) if it is present.

wonderfull my first trip through the kde beta version but...
I went on with updates and now, after the last one, I get a big trouble.
I cannot start anymore kde. After updating to the 4.5.85 version the desktop starts but I get contiunuous crashes with Krunner floating exception errors ( I mean 1 each 2 seconds). So it's clear theres' a big bug but I can't find anything browsing internet and forums..
Do you have heard about this issue ?
Any suggestion?
