Thanks, I was on my way here to check the news on this thread, and file a bug if nobody had done so. Still experiencing this on my rc2 install on Gentoo.

EDIT: the only thing different, is that screen does not turn off while watching movies? Maybe due to the media player? I'm using smplayer-0.6.9.

Please, if a bug is already marked as fixed, avoid to make changes unless you are experiencing the issue again _after_ the fix.
