I want to write a simple plugin for Calligra that can "save-as" a MS Word .doc. This script would save an ODF in /tmp, and then use LibreOffice headless to open and resave it as a MS Word .doc.

How can i get started with plugins Calligra? I would prefer some kind of non-compiled scripting to do this with, and not C++

Best way is to checkout Calligra and copy an existing plugin and start from there e.g. with the OOo ppt import https://projects.kde.org/projects/calli ... nter/ooppt

That could be easily modified to do what you want.
