Hi, how can i change the background color for a table cell in words?

Hi. Double click on the table to get in. Mark the cells you want to change and and with a right mouse button access a popup menu. Choose "Cell Format". Choose Background and there you can set it.

Uhm no. I'm sorry but we have not yet implemented the functionality to change the background color of cells.

It will probably be done in time for version 2.7, but not even the upcoming 2.6 will have it.

Do we discuss about a spreadsheet shape? I didn't find any other table to be added.

Ah no, I was not talking about a spreadsheet shape, but about a normal table. (You don't insert it as a shape, but with the insert table button)

I'm using Calligra Words 3.1.0. Is it possible in 3.1.0 to set the background color of a cell or row in a table? I can set the background color for text, but it doesn't fill the entire cell.
